Hello,
occurs any kind of traffic on a server, when a spam robot send eMails to jabber.org? (or any other server)

I ask this question, because I found one some websites (in this forum too), signatures like:
JID: abc(At)example(DOT)com
what's the problem with:
JID: abc@example.com ?
I know this for MSN because a lot of users have an Hotmail account with the same address, but for Jabber

I can't believe that a spam robot send messages via eMail, MSN and Jabber when it found an eMail address on a website.

Hello,

to answer you, I will give you at least 3 reasons why I do the same thing:

1/ For my own, my email and Jabber address are the same!

2/ Currently there is no Jabber spam (at least not that I know, because I never encountered such), and hopefully it will last some time. Unfortunately many people are working (everyone on its own level, but every level matters) so that Jabber gets widely used. Thus unfortunately Jabber will sooner or later have the attention of spammers. For now developpers are trying to find ways to prevent this, but it will probably never be completely avoided. Then I think this is not a bad habit to get from now.

3/ Even though my jid could have been different than my email, and thinking that spammers would not know how to use it, I simply don't like the basic idea that my jid would have been stored in spammers' database.
And anyway... you never know, as I said, probably some day, they will be taking attention to Jabber, able to differentiate an email with a jid (by differenciating xmpp or mailto in front!), or whatever!
