Saving conversation

Hi.

I would like to know How can I register/save conversations in the server?

If this is possible, What do I need to configure (tag line) in the server?

Hello,

as far as I know this is something discussed sometimes on the mailing lists and most wanted by many persons (me included). There is a XEP about it:

And as you can see, this has been updated very recently.

But unfortunately (still as far as I know), no server includes this already. So for now I don't think that you can do it on any server. :-( Of course I may be wrong, and I would then be happy to be so! So if someone can contradict me on this point, I would like it!!! ;-)

To conclude, as a general advice for your future questions about a Jabber server configuration: tell us which server program (and which version!) you are talking about! They haven't implemented all the same features (and are not configurable the same way). :-)
