Hello,

I am not sure to understand your question. In fact, what I don't understand is the "MSN" in it? Are you talking about the implemented features of MSN through a Jabber transport?

If you simply speak about Jabber, Multiple Chat and offline message are implemented already. I think Custom emoticon are maybe because I think to remember once something like this (but I may be wrong, I never used such a feature). What is Nudge? And could you explain me what does Audio clip and video conversion have to see with an IM protocol?

Hum, for example, in MSN propetary protocol users can send audio clip insted of text message.
I need to use Ichat with msn, and the only way to do this is through jabber protocol.

Right. But such features aren't defined in Jabber. So you cannot really use Audio / Video, nor Nudge, nor custom emoticons.

This would all need to be defined in XEPs, which is a lot of work.

And personally I would really prefer to spend time defining then implementing any good feature (like these ones maybe) in XMPP, than wasting time implementing the exact same feature for a transport to MSN!
But this is of course just my opinion. If anyone thinks it is worth his time making such transport improvement, then help yourself and have fun! :-)
