Well, let's start this site off with a small poll.

On what platform do you use Jabber? On your PC? Or are you a Mac User? Or supporting the Open Source world by using Linux? What about Mobile? Do you use it there?

Actually, this question is a bit ambiguous =) I use a server that runs in linux, but clients running on windows, linux or symbian!

hehe, true :) I actually use it on Linux (Client + Server); Windows (Client); OSX (Client) ... and my precious Symbian OS :)

My work desktop is a Mac, however I recently installed OpenFire on Solaris 10, which is missing from the list.

I cannot decide on just one option...

My desktops are Linux, but I also use IM on my symbian mobile, and through the web on other computers.

My servers run debian.

Server is running Win2K, desktop WinXP, and laptop Linux. I primarily use Jabber on the desktop tho :)

Server (jabber) is running on FreeBSD6.3R. Clients (jabber) are running on FreeBSD7.0R, FreeBSD6.3R and WinXP.

I use ejabberd on my servers (Debian/Linux)
Clients is on
Linux (Gajim)
Mobile phone (Bombus, Java)
Firefox (SamePlace)
