Duplicate user :409

I am getting conflict 409 while adding the same user twice, but when i checked the jabberd database schema then there was no constrain defined on authreg table. Does anyone know where/why i am getting the 409. and also when JID get updated.

I need to add extra details in my application table based on the successful user creation on jabberd database but I am not able to get the primary key which i can refer in my application database.
