[jadmin] I need help setting up a new user

I have a new employee starting with the company and need to set up an
account for him. The tech who supported Jabber in my company has left,
and we have no information about the product.

Can you help with this?

Ussually accounts can be created with a jabber client. But since is a private
server, maybe this feature has been disabled. And maybe the server also takes
the user data from a external place like LDAP (Active Directory)

There are several servers (ejabberd, jabberd2, jabberd14, openfire,
tigase..... ) which one are you using?

I don't know how my tech set this up or which server it is on. Is there a way to find this out? We have paid for a hosted service through Jabber.

It sounds as if you are a customer of Jabber, Inc. I recommend that you
contact them via support (AT) jabber (DOT) com.
