Hello, I'm trying to install Spark Client 2.5.8 on a couple PCs in the workplace. These PCs had a previous version of Spark installed on them at one time. The problem that is occurring is that after uninstalling the old Spark Client and reinstalling the new one, the new one doesn't work properly. For instance, all the previous user and server information is somehow carried over from the old version to the settings of the new (it's automatically entered in when I start the new client). Also when I press the "Accounts" button it doesn't do anything. The client will not connect to the new server I set up either, even though PCs that never had a previous Spark Client on them before work fine.

Any ideas? I guess what I'm asking for is how do I completely remove all remnants of the old Spark Client from the PC? Are there registry settings I need to get rid of? Thanks!!!

Was all the account data deleted?

We switched from an external server to an internal, so it shouldn't be grabbing any account data from the servers.

Well, not from the servers, but from the Windows Profiles. User\Application Data\ or similar.

Deleted the user data folder in the profile - fixed! Thanks Florian.

Another question - I'm trying to enable office workser the ability to connect to the company OpenFire server from home. I enabled port forwarding for the jabber protocol (5222), but it still isn't working remotely. Any ideas? Thanks.

Port 5222 and 5223 (for old SSL). That shold be all you need.

Indeed, that should be all I have to do. I port forwarded 5222 and 5223 to the server, but still no go externally. Must be an issue with the internal routing perhaps. Thanks.
