View Full Version : [jadmin] more problems with jabberd2

to add one more problem here is another one..
I have users report that with the new pidgin they can't log after
looking at the jabber logs I see:
port=54480] connect
port=54480] error: XML parse error (not well-formed (invalid token))
port=54480] disconnect jid=unbound, packets: 0
At least this is a step forward from the empty log pidging users were
getting before..
I have 100 new users a week but only 10% will actually log in because
they are not using pidgin.. pidging users
go to another server not using jabberd2 software on it. :-(
I have patched jabberd2 with the sasl patch long time a go and that
never fixed the problem..
at least now this looks a bit easier to fix if someone will be kind
enough to help.
Thanks

I haven't had trouble with the new version of pidgin, but the new stable
version of Audium has a bug which produces malformed XML on a version
request.

This is a known bug and they're fixing it fast.

Agreed. And it's resolved in the beta client.
