Hello,
i found nothing in XEP-126 or XEP-45, therefore I don't know if this problem is defined somewhere or my client do something wrong.
Imagine the following:
1) I have Bob added to my roster, he is online
2) We are both in the same MUC
3) Bob goes offline in my roster, but he is still present in the MUC => I know that he is invisible. :(
Is there a definition for this or is this a client problem? What should a client do in this case? On the other side, when I go invisible I must first leave all mucs manual?

A few points:
1. Invisibility is a stupid idea in the first place -- if you want to be invisible to most people, create another account, they are cheap!
2. Invisibility leaks presence because true invisibility is extremely difficult on a public network.
3. Groupchat rooms are public spaces.
4. If you join a public space but expect to be invisible, you're a fool.
Or so it seems to me. :)

For points 2, 3 and 4, I fully agree. This is strange to join a public chat room and wanting to be invisible.
Nevertheless I cannot agree with point 1/. Sometimes you may want to be visible to some people or some services for instance, but in the same time be invisible to the rest of the world (for instance you are working on some topic with specific people and don't want to be distrubed, but by them?).
Of course, true invisibility is difficult and presence may probably leak. But this is not such serious as long as it is explicitely stated that it is not a secure method, just a convenience, providing the fact that clients implement the feature as recommended of course.
And really I don't think that creating another account is the solution. Of course it is if you really want 2 separate use case. For instance you won't use your work account at home (don't want to be disturbed for your job the week-end! ;-).
But for seldom occasions, once in a while you want some privacy while still being online on Jabber... for this I may think invisibility can be nice. And you are not going to create a "one-use account" each time in a while this happens.

Why should you be invisible in a MUC?
You could have different name in a MUC compared to your JID. Isn't this good enough for you, then log out from that room.

I want not be invisible in a muc.
I must admit I want not be invisible in general, I am not a friend of this status in general and use it only very rarely.
But when I select "Invisible" from my status menu, I am invisible for "single chat user" and still visible as online in a muc.
Yes, I could choose another name, leave the channel before I go invisible or whatever.
But my questions was if there are somewhere any recommendations for this.
