I want to send alerts to users on MSM or YIM using a perl script. Can I connect directly to the transport modules for ejabberd to do this or do I need to first create a roster entry for the destination user and then send thru the jabber server itself?
I can not find any examples of scripts that do this, only examples that show how to send to a jabber user.
