Hi everybody,

I've been contributing to Asterisk's (www.asterisk.org) XMPP stack for some time now. While working with folks from Collabora to improve both Asterisk's and Telepathy's Jingle implementations, and in order to ease the testing process, I set up an Asterisk Jingle server that is reachable at this jid : phsultan@jabber.org/asterisk

This server should be now available to anybody wanting to make interoperability tests against it. Just subscribe to its presence status, and you'll get your request automatically accepted.

Placing a call to the server will make Asterisk play a welcome file before starting an echo server, therefore permitting to test the voice connection in both ways.

Main characteristics :
- XEP 167 (RTP sessions) , XEP 177 (ICE-UDP transport) support, both in pre 5th XMPP summit versions though ;
- Codec supported : G.711.

There are many things to improve in Asterisk's Jingle implementation, so feel free to test this server out and please give your feedback on this list.
